Michelle and Ory have always had a way of making the people around them feel instantly at home — and this family session was no exception.

We met on a sun-drenched afternoon at a stunning vineyard, complete with rolling greenery and a softly bubbling fountain that seemed to hum along with the joy of the day. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like a celebration — one rooted in family, connection, and the kind of love you don’t have to manufacture. It’s just there.

What made this session especially meaningful was the layers of generations gathered together. Grandparents. Parents. Siblings. And at the heart of it all — a baby who was clearly the center of the universe. Every set of arms wanted a turn. Every face softened the moment the baby entered the frame. You could feel the collective awe, the quiet joy, the we’re really all here together magic in every single image.

We photographed a wide mix of groupings — big family portraits, smaller combinations, candid in-between moments — but no matter who was in the frame, the through-line was unmistakable: love lives here. The kind that shows up in gentle hands on shoulders, knowing smiles, and laughter that spills out without permission.

There was also an ease to this session that can’t be overstated. Michelle and Ory were already comfortable in front of our cameras — and with us — because we had the honor of photographing their wedding back in 2023. That shared history matters. It builds trust.
